2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS 6Cyl4.3L - Transmissions & Drivetrains

Driving on the fwy... Transmission hot comes up on the display. Fluid level is ok... Stuck an hour from home!

Fluid level is ok. Not towing anything, driving 75mph...possible solenoid?
I did notice when I pressed the trailer light switch on shift lever I got more power while trans was in safety mode

  Several possibilities; restricted fluid flow (change / service the fluid and filter), clogged / restricted transmission cooler or radiator fins (clean with high-pressure water, such as a hose).
