HouseCallAuto 3/19/2010Did you check and see if there is spark from the ignition wires. That is the first step. Second step is check for stored fault codes in the vehicle computer and then repost with the codes. You will need a scanner to access the computer. They are under $100.

Ator27 3/20/2010Check the 2 wires going into the coil normaly white and the other pink. The wires will have a break close to the connector. Grab the connector and then pull each wire 1 at a time about 2 inches back. The insolation will stretch and break on the bad wire. Another test is to pull on the wires while the engine is running to see if it studders or dies. If it is the connetor the easy fix is to order a new connector with pigtails and use soldier and heat shrink. Connectors available from delco or dealer. This is very common and will not set codes.
