How old is the battery? If you are referring to a parasitic drain, any electrical short... Make sure there are no interior lights on (trunk, glovebox, etc).

The battery is 2 weeks old. People keep telling me it has to b something electrical thts either staying on or somethings wired wrong. I checked to make sure no interior lights were being left on. Since ive replaced the alternator n battery i made sure everythings turned off when i get out the car. I get it jumpstarted early in the day. Itll run all day but when i let it sit overnight..itll b dead by morning. Im just so flustered n dnt know what else to do.

If there is a drain, the fuses need to be removed one at a time to isolate the circuit at fault. Then the components in that circuit need to be troubleshooted. Are there any aftermarket accessories installed (alarm, amp, etc.)?

I just bought this car in february. I myself havent installed anything. I think it may have came with some type of alarm system but i have no sure way of knowing. Owners manual wasnt in the car. All i know is when i first got it n i would shut it off..a red light would stay blinking on n off but i havent even noticed tht lately.

To check for a drain, you'll need a DMM. Did a shop replace the Alternator & Battery?

No. A mechanic tht works at a shop did. Now..i spoke with a man tht works for advance auto and he said tht usually when a car sits overnight n it goes dead after being ran the whole day. Its usually the dios or dyos?? Has to do with the alternator?? I havent heard this yet but it made sense only because i didnt tell him about the car going dead after sittting all night. He said this on his own. So..my question is..wht is tht??

Diodes are internal alternator compnents. The new alternator would have to be defective or it was ruined during the installation. Did you have this problem before the alternator was installed?

The mechanic who replaced your alternator should recheck the system.

Taking your vehicle back to the mechanic who installed the alternator is the logical solution unless you can perform the checks yourself.
