2002 Mini Cooper S 4Cyl1.6L - Engine
My cooling fan stays on all the time and runs the battery down.
the temperature gauge shows normal temperature and the fan will run even when cold until the battery cable is disconnected. what is wrong?

    Replace the Cooling Fan Switching Unit which is the entire fan assembly. Probability here is almost 100%.
