1984 Porsche 944 Base 4Cyl2.5L - Engine
Cooling Fan is not kicking in - what could be the problem?
No Electrical power for Temperature Switch - Relays? Check Power to Fan Relay? Car overheats - Car has 150,000k - Fans don't kick in even when I jump the Thermo Switch Wires - all the time - I just replaced a rear heater hose, bled the system and ran car, but car overheated and I blew up 2 hoses - (overheated) -
Neither Check Engine Light nor Warning Lights are on

    Test the fan motor or motors by jumping power and ground to the fan motor connector using jumper leads of 16 Gauge wire minimum and see if they / it turns on. If the fan motor is junk it will never turn on.

    Thank You, I Will Do That- I A Friend Of Mine - Did Jump The Main 2 Wires That Connect Directly To The Temperature Switch- (Direct Power) But No Reaction And No Power To Those 2 Wires That Connect To The Temperature Switch. Investigating Where There Might Be Power Either In The Harness, Or To Check If There Is Any Power In The Relay Box For The Fan Relay-, I Did Read One Other Article RE: A Dual Relay SystemThat Controls Both AC And Cooling Fan... This Is A Real Pain... help...

    The car has 2 fans......1 will run when you turn on the A/C. If it doesn't check the wires that go to the fan, they are famous for corroding. Also check 944online.com.
