  This sensor is in the coolant overflow reservoir. so if reservoir full of coolant drains back into radiator like it is supposed to do and you have a leak (otherwise why would you be filling) the system is telling you low reservoir, please fill.

  Check to see if you have a sensor on your radiator if you do that is your problem.
