1994 Chevrolet Blazer Silverado 8Cyl5.7L - Engine
Compressor runs for two seconds, then turns off for two seconds. Does this over and over again every two seconds.
Because the compressor is only running for two seconds, the air only gets slightly cold. This happens anytime the a/c is turned on. No check engine light or warning light.

Usually, the short cycling is due to low system charge level. It may mean the refrigerant needs recharging.

OK, that seems simple enough. Any particular kit you would suggest I buy to recharge refrigerant? Never none it before by myself. Always had dealership do it in the past. Dealership wants $100 to diagnose, and $200 more to recharge refrigerant. So $300 total. Seems rediculous to pay that for a 19 year old truck.
