1993 Buick Regal Custom 6Cyl3.8L - Engine

choking down when it get hot

This vehicle has been setting up due to lack of time and money to repair. But I am ready to get it back into my fleet of movable vehicles. It has a new battery now and will crank. It runs now, but when it gets warm and you take foot of gas or stop it chokes down and the engine light comes on.

  can you give us a little info about the engine, is it TBI injected? Have it read for obd1 codes is going to get you on the right path. sensors and valves to check, map sensor, throttle position sensor, and check egr valve, also check for a vacuum leak sounds like air getting sucked through a straw.
