  Research the claims and be cautious of 'magical' performance improvements, such as aftermarket chips that alter the engine computer from stock settings. Before you consider purchase of one, you might check with other Frontier owners - such as one of the many on-line owners forums - for an unbiased (hopefully) opinion.
