1994 Ford Crown Victoria LX 8Cyl4.6L - Engine

Check Engine light has started coming on when I first start up the car and stays on for a short time then goes out.

  See this link and use their instructions to retrieve the existing codes stored in the engine control module. Apply the codes from their Ford's common OBD1 fault codes (for vehicles made before 1995).
