1996 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 6Cyl3.1L - Steering & Suspension

I am changing struts on the rear of my car.

The 2 bottom bolts are they threaded threw the hub or can they be driven out. I can not get them to budge

  They can be driven out, use a soft mallet, remove the bolts at the back the smash away.
  
  Here is a picture with diagram, dont worry if its for a 97 GP, it doesnt really change a thing in the removal process
