2005 Maserati Quattroporte Base 8Cyl4.2L - Brakes
I am changing a brake booster in a 2005 Maserati Quattroporte. how do i disconnect the rod from the brake pedal?
How do i unclip the brake booster rod from the brake pedal? Paul

    Look on the rear side of the brake pedal. There is a cotter pin on the end of the brake pedal to pushrod retaining pin. Grab the end of this cotter pin and pull it straight out.

    Use a punch or a small screwdriver to gently tap the brake pedal to get the pushrod retaining pin out of the mounting bracket.

    Separate the brake pedal from the pushrod by pulling up on the brake pedal.

    This brake booster rod does not have pin holding it. The end of the rod is like a round ball that is snapped into a plastic block on the brake pedal arm. I don't see how to release it?
