What is causing the abs/traction control light to come on?
the mileage is 196,000, I have replaced the alternator, replaced cam sensor actuator, crank sensor actuator, new rotors, replaced air flow meter, ignition coil, new spark plugs, most of the ignition coils, air flow meter, The abs/traction control light comes on generally when it is above 80 degrees or after the car has been driven a long distance - this only happens AFTER THE CAR HAS BEEN TURNED OFF AND THEN RESTARTED and after driving a short distance.= the lights will come on. If you stop the car, turn off the ignition off and then restart the car, the lights go out and do not come back on until you turn the car off and restart and drive a short distance - if you accelerate a little faster than normal - the abs/traction control will come on. I have had the local lexus dealer as well as several ase certified mechanics look at it and so far no one has come up with a fix.
