1992 Ford Taurus LX 6Cyl3.0L - Engine
car won't stay running
current Milage 150000 I replaced the fuel pump because it stopped working I also replaced the fuel filter all OEM still would not start so I was told to replace the IAC. still would not start so I replaced the fuel pressure regulator. The car started and ran for a minute or two then quit I attempted to restart the car and it acted like it was straining to turn over i pulled a spark plug out and it was soaked in fuel. my question is why?

    When the car will not start you have to check for ignition spark from the end of any plug wire. At this point, the plugs wires and cap and rotor should all have been replaced. Fuel filter also. Also have to check for injector pulse with a noid light. You have to do these checks while the engine is in the no start mode.
