  Yeah it could be or the ignition is out of timing. Get the engine scanned and let us translate the codes for you and further give repair recommendations.

  could be a bad fuel pressure regulator, or a faulty air mass meter. unplug the air mass meter ,on the hose that leads to the throttle, and see if it idles better.
