1985 Porsche 944 Base 4Cyl2.5L - Engine
car not starting with new fuel injectors
Have gas going to fuel injectors ,but car would not start,put in new fuel injectors car still not starting checked injectors notice injectors not opening to allow gas to start engine what is sending the signal to the injectors to allow them to open up and start the catr

    Wow what a classic car you have!!!

    The most likely causes are:

    1. A dead fuel pump (could be the pump, pump relay or wiring circuit);

    2. A plugged fuel filter;

    3. Low fuel pressure (weak pump or restricted line); or

    4. No pulse signal to injectors (bad injector relay or PCM driver circuit).

    i put in new fuel pump...pump is working good...new fuel filter....getting gas to the injectors but injectors not getting signal to fire or open up ...as you say in #3 it may be a bad fuel regulator pump or #4 a bad electronic control module which probably controls the signal to the injectors to allow them to open up .....let me know what you think thanx.
