My car will not start??????????
Please Help!!! I have a 2006 Civic LX that will not start. Its an automatic. Battery is fully charged (tested by autozone). Connections are perfect.... I went to get food, came out and car will not start. When I turn the key the starter clicks once and then nothing. The car does not try to turn over at all. there is also a single click coming from the fuse box under the hood (where the positive cable runs to). I tried to jump after being hooked up to another car for 15 minutes. same scenerio. so Ive ruled out the battery and alternator. Any suggestions? Maybe a relay?

HouseCallAuto 2/16/2013It sounds like a bad starter motor. Have someone try tapping on the starter motor with a suitable tool while you try to start the engine. I bet ya it starts up. That would confirm a bad starter.
