1992 Mercedes Benz 500SEL Base 8Cyl5.0L - Body & Interior

Car tends to run hot when I drive thru city steers due to stop n go traffic but has no problems on freeway.

Always has slight electrical problem.

  First - what is the slight electrical problem, refer to? Are the radiator fans engaging (coming on) during the traffic situations to cool the engine? Check the coolant mixture for the proper 50/50 mix of water to anti-freeze.
  Need more information about the problem you are having - especially the electrical issue.

  Yes, please share more. My 78 overheats after 5 minutes. Also it has to be plugged in over night so the diesel won't freeze. Have to keep tank above 3/4 of a tank. help.., please????
