1989 BMW 325iX Base 6Cyl2.5L - Engine
Why does my car jerks or buckle when I get up to 3500 - 4000 rps in either 1st 2nd or 3rd gear?
sometimes the check light will slight flash but doesnt stay on, I change the spark plugs on it. it does it alot when Im driving in the daytime where its warm but at night when the temp is lower it rarely does it. could it be the O2 sensor going bad?

It's probably not related to the O2 sensors, as if they fail, the engine just runs in open loop mode and burns more gas.
It sounds like it may be a fuel delivery or mass air sensor problem to me, but that is just an educated guess. Try running a tank of gas with some Techron additive in it before going to a foreign auto repair shop that is Bosch certified. The Mass Air sensor is in the rubber tube between the air filter and the intake manifold. It (the heated wire)can get contaminated if you don't keep the air filter clean.

I have changed the fule filter, fuel regulator pump, mass air flow sensor and added a full tank of gas from Shell V-Power w/ some fuel additive and still having problems. Could it be the fuel pump going bad? It does it every now and then and at night it rarely does it, just trying to find out the problem before I spend over $200 some dollars at the dealership..thanks
