2005 Hyundai XG350 L 6Cyl3.5L - Engine

why does my car engine "race" when ignition is first turned on and does it Without acceleration.

doesn't do it if car has been driven, ignition turned off, then re-engaged.

  possible acceleration senor is stuck. located at the end of the accelerator cable

  Also have coolant temp sensor checked out since this is what feeds the idle control via the ECU
