will a broken timining chain stop the car from starting after is cranked 2 hrs earlier
my car had been making horrible sounds for a couple of days and the night before I was to fix several things on it it quit and water was flying from every where, I had a new water pump put on and not it won't start. I even put a new coil on it because there was no fire reaching the distributor wire will the timing chain cause this or should I look elsewhere. When the tow truck sat it down I had to start it toback it up which happened I put water in it first but it hasn't started since

A broken timing belt will make the camshaft and the crankshaft run uncontrolled, the pistons will crush and bend the valves. I hope that give you some ideas.
