2011 Ford Flex SEL 6Cyl3.5L - Brakes

The brakes just started making a low thud type sound when I come to a stop what does this indicate?

veh has 11,000 the sound is not grinding or squealing, the veh does not pull to one side, pedal feel is fine. It just started 20 mins ago

  Not enough detail in the question to be sure, but if you use the emergency brake, there is a drum in disc design at the rear, and what you are hearing is the brake shoes releasing from the drum.
  If not, it's likely that the disc and brake are rusting together while parked, which is normal for any brake on any vehicle. The thud is them separating.

  I think your vehicle is still under warranty, you should take it to the dealership for further test (road test) and if possible try to visit this link http://www.automd.com/recall-tsb/search/ to see the 9 TSB's for your vehicle.

  Something may be up with a tire. Try rotating the tires and see if sound remains the same.
