brakes failed while driving

kept pumping all the way home then came back on could u please advise

  Two things come to mind . First is it going thru fluid ? If so you have a leak making the brakes bleed off . If it's not leaking then the master cylinder has taken a crap . Can help pin point it once you give us more info .
