1989 Lincoln Town Car Signature 8Cyl5.0L - Brakes
What would cause brake pedal to sound its leaking air and go almost to the floor?
This started today when I tried to take something out of my pocket while still strapped in my seat belt
I had my foot on the break pedal, pressed to hard I felt the pedal pop and went to the floor! Any ideas what happened?

I just did almost this very thing this morning! It is most likely one of your break lines that has sprung a leak.
