just bought car and when cleaning it found the drivers floorboard very wet! Why?

Car does have a moon roof.

  Several possibilities; leaking window seal or gasket, leaking windshield seal or gasket, leaking roof gasket or seal, leaking heater core or heater hose connection on the interior.
