Bent rear lower control arms - need to replace.
I am looking to replace both R/L lower wishbone control arms. 1. I would like to know if the original bushings come out easily (they are in very good condition) and 2. do the control arms themselves require any special techniques/maneuvers to remove?

    1. The bushings are machine pressed
    2. Most control arms come with bushings so you might as well buy the whole 9 yards
    3. No special tecniques

Thanks. The autopartswarehouse.com site has OEM arms, but they said the bushings are not supplied as seen in the picture. Do they come out of the original arm easily or with a machine? Do you know Ladiesman217? I appreciate it...

A hard push is enough to do the job for the bushing :)

    Great SUV by the way

I thought I may need a press. It is a solid, well-engineered vehicle. I bought it used last year and found both control arms are slightly bent - left more than right. Thanks for your comments/advice.

I got 2 new control arms. The bushings came pre-installed(pressed). I had both installed in just over an hour. Thanks for your advice. I feel the difference. I'm glad I did it. Just over $110.00 and it rides like new...
