  Also under the plastic cover behind the fuses is the headlight relay. When it burns out it will stop suppling power to whatever lights it wants to. Multimeter the socket, no power replace the relay/check fuses of course. Suggest junk yard new they are about 200. what I ended up doing was taking it down to the MBZ dealer and they sold me two replacement bulb harness's. Switched them out myself and viola!
