1999 Honda Accord LX 6Cyl3.0L - Engine

Just got a new battery and was told the alternator was producing a high charge.

Can this be adjusted or is replacement necessary?

  How high of a charge ? Sometimes with a weak battery it will show high why it's trying to catch up and then level out . Was it checked before or after the battery was replaced ? If after , then yes it it would most likely need a new alternator . They can not be adjusted .
