AIRBAG AND SEAT BELT LIGHTS ON STEADY
Bought it not long ago. I already know that the navigation system has been disconnected because when it is connected, the radio starts to act up. This is not the issue though. The airbag and seat belt lights are on. And there is an error message on the iDrive board saying: fault-in passenger restraint system. Checked under the seats and everything is connected. Checked fuses and all is good. Car never wrecked and only has 57k. I want to start with resetting the light as this is a common issue that can be triggered by many things. Car's battery was replaced a while back with a new one.

airabag light on means some fault codes stored in you airbag,
you should get a airbag resetter to clear the DTC and reset airbag.
