Why do my airbag light keep coming on while driving?

  The computer that monitors the SRS system is seeing a sensor value that is not right. It turns on the light to let you know that in the event of a crash, the air bag will not deploy. The system can store fault data codes that can be interpreted into what component needs to be replaced. You will need a scan tool that can read air bag codes for Jeep to do it yourself.
