the air conditioner compressor clutch will not release and compressor runs constantly. Is there a cabin temperature cont

The compressor runs constantly and cools to 55% but the clutch never releases, is there a cabin temperature control

  The clutch is no more than a magnet . When it gets power it turns the magnet on and makes the compressor turn . Should be just one wire going to the compressor . Unplug it and see if the compressor quits or not . Then you will know if it's the clutch magnet or the power switch .
