2004 Volkswagen Touareg V8 8Cyl4.2L - Engine
Why the AC fan does not stop when turn off the engine? It will work at full speed for a long time and the battery dies.
Even if I turn on the engine for a few seconds, when I turn off the engine the fan AC will work at full speed until the battery (which is new) will be dead. Recently the VW dealer said the battery cable was not installed properly, and fixed it, but the next day the battery was weak again. I can hear the radiator fan (or fans) working intensively.

Most likely a sticking radiator fan relay or could be a sensor problem.
