what do i do when the abs light is on?

the abs light is on asking to service. is that something i can chalenge?

  You would need to identify the fault code numbers stored in the ABS controller which would require a scanner that you do not have access to without paying a shop to access the codes. If you can pay a shop like 20-30-40 bucks to read the codes and you repost with the codes I can help.
