after about 20-30 mins of driving my truck begins to sputter like its running out of gas.

ihave changed the fuel pump,fuel filter and dist.cap. did a fuel pressure chk ,remained @ 20 while it was sputtering. could there be a link to the tranny and throttle sensor ? if i shut it off for a few minutes it seems to be ok sometimes.

  turn ignition key on-off-on-off-on and count the flashes of the check engine light example long pulse - long pulse then a single short pulse is a 21. Don't try this st home kids :-)
  
  I would replace the distributor pickup coil under the cap, black plate with wire, easy, cheap.
