2003 Cadillac Escalade Base 8Cyl6.0L - Transmissions & Drivetrains

My 2003 Cadillac Escalade front tires just locked up while I was stopped at a red light. I could not go forward or back.

And I Just got the transfer case fixed. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be

  that happen to me before.. It was the differential .. it leaked until empty then burned up inside.. had to replace costed $800 for a used one in the junk yard.. installation included.. has been ok for the last 3 years. but now Im having a problem with my transfer case.. it makes a clunking sound on acceleration, only when i hit the gas.. no sound when coasting, only acceleration.. and idea what that is ?
