Attempt to adjust the seat with the switch.

Remove the seat trim panel to gain access to the back side of the switch.

Check the switch input to make sure the switch has power and ground.

Supply power and ground to the seat motor (bypassing the switch).

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Unbolt the power seat from the vehicle.

Disconnect any electrical connections from the bottom of the seat.

Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Remove the power seat motor from the seat and replace with a new power seat motor.

Test the power seat motor by supplying power and ground.

If motor operates properly reinstall the seat in the vehicle.

Reconnect all the electronic connectors.

Re-install the seat retaining bolts.

Reconnect the power seat switch.

Re-install the power seat trim panel.

Reconnect the negative battery cable.

Adjust the seat to verify repairs.
