How to Replace a Plastic License Plate Bracket

Safety Tip:
Always wear safety glasses when working on your vehicle. Wear other personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary, for example latex gloves or closed toe shoes.

Remove all screws holding the license plate bracket in place. Remove the license plate and bracket from the bumper.

Clean the bumper cover and inspect the holes to make sure they are not damaged.

Transfer your license plate to the new bracket. Attach the new bracket assembly to the bumper with the original screws. Tighten the screws.
